Laura's curiosity sparked a career in journalism, where she covered the advertising beat for a weekly business paper before deciding she'd rather join the stories than just report them. She spent two decades as a publicist, helping brands, organizations, and individuals find their voice and share it with the world. A chance elevator ride with a CEO rerouted her away from law school and into a master's degree in creative writing (her thesis still snoozes quietly in a forgotten computer file).

Known for listening deeply and making people feel seen, she has built teams that deliver everything from launching soda flavors to opening student chapters of a global organization in Puerto Rico. Detail-oriented but never humorless, she uncovers insights hiding in plain sight and makes the work lighter with laughter.

Passionate about writing as a form of clear thinking, Laura is also a lifelong learner, happiest exploring new cultures through their supermarkets, practicing Pilates, or unwinding at the beach. She thrives around a table filled with good food, abundant wine, and curious conversation.
