Kari began her career in project management where she especially enjoyed collaborating with international teams. Whether it was facilitating meetings or delivering trainings, she discovered that she loved the process of seeking to understand others, bringing different perspectives together, and creating awareness around connections to reach common goals. While exploring tools to help her become a better project manager Kari discovered that coaching combines what she values most: helping people understand themselves and others while achieving goals and having a positive impact on the world around them. She quickly became a certified professional coach and now in addition to training and facilitating, Kari coaches leaders and emerging leaders around the world and across industries.

Today Kari enjoys traveling to experience different cultures and she has a deep appreciation for music, food, conversation, and art. She especially loves taking in a good performance, concert, sporting event, or exhibit – anything that allows her to connect with and appreciate someone else's story.

As a teen Kari loved making up dance routines and participating in organized sports like cheerleading, volleyball, and softball. Listening to music, coming up with new dance moves, and practicing drills until a skill was well developed kept her entertained. As a child, Kari loved to play outdoor games like capture the flag, she enjoyed baking in her Easy Bake oven, and she could often be found putting on organized performances for her family.
